I'm an aspiring writer who's actually been printing and publishing on and off for about 18 years.
Yes, I started young along side of many other fine artists whose work I'm going to be putting in my gallery as time goes on.
I have written a number of series first and foremost being the ongoing Tall Tails with the lovely and talented Daphne Lage.
Tenchi Muyo with the not so lovely but yet talented Matt Lunsford.
I've also done Dream Weavers and a couple of Oswald Chronicle comics with Matt.
Reever with Xahc M. Lennieson and Poy Yee.
Aside from the comics my main passion has been writing The Oswald Chronicles which is about a mouse (Oswald) who lives on a mall in Manhattan with his neighbors, Diane a fairy, Ordith a troll, and Jeremy a young redcap.
That is a gross oversimplification of what the stories are about. The Oswald Chronicles is primarily about the adventures Oswald goes through and the conundrums he faces as he has to decide what is the best thing to do in a world where the right answer isn't always best answer or even the most pleasing.
I also treat Oswald as a gate master for other stories that are told to him by various other mystical creatures i.e.: dragons telling him of prophecies of doom, imps explaining why a torrent of blood rains in hell never to end until the end times, traveling knights fleeing desperate evil with its sole eye, and many more.
Some of these stories can be found on my Oswald site or you can always pick up a book if you please
I have also written a couple of actual novels in the last year. One of them is called Dream Weavers which was originally a comic that Matt Lunsford and I worked on a number of years ago. We never finished the six issue limited series for one reason or another, so I decided to write the whole thing as one novel with illustrations taken from the comic. It's already done and we're looking to have it for this years SDCC.
I have also written a novel called the Stone Egg which is about a young man trying to help a gargoyle reach the Florida Keys so that he can have a safe place to raise his family of gargoyles. Needless to say it's a bit more involved than that, with a secret order from the church pursuing them into throughout this world and others, while elves, pix and other gargoyles attempt to steal the eggs from Edwin (the young man) and Rodney (the gargoyle dad). This one is by far, I hate to use the term adult, but it's the first story where I actually have the characters speaking in way that is less than gentile. In Oswald, Tall Tails and even when I wrote Dream Weavers I always made it a point to avoid using foul language. It's funny because I happen to have a potty mouth but when I write that happens not to be the case. In this one I just wanted a change and an opportunity to cut loose a bit and boy did I, lol.
